At times the skipper was confident enough to leave some of us at the helm while getting on with other things – a big compliment to us but rather scary for Sam!

Morning all.. Last night we stayed in Lymington which seems go be a very nice but very posh place!
Conversation over breakfast was not quite so educational today and was mainly based around whether teeth should be cleaned before or after breakfast!!

Hello all, well this morning we managed to make our way from the mainland to the Isle of White and back again. Using our planned routes we worked in our port and starboard watches to navigate, helm and look out.

Another breakfast another educational conversation !
Morning all .. So today over breakfast it was our senior member Kayleigh Ws turn to chat to us all about education. She explained about the 16-19 bursary and bus passes and how we apply for them.

Hello from the Virtual School (wahooo) Today we are in Buckler's Hard and it has been raining all day ☹. We learned how to put the sails up and down and how to tack the boat.
Tonight we are going to do some navigation and go to bed.

Kayleigh B Sian and Alannah are all choir members so have been encouraging us all with suitable songs as we haul ropes and tack the boat. Row row row your boat, big waves on the ocean and swim swim swim so far!
