"It was fun" Beth, 13
The science workshop was really fun, even if you didn't think you liked Science. We made parachutes and launched them from the Mezzanine, we also made rockets. All we had were plastic bottles, paper, string and blue tak!

The Choir works really hard rehearsing and performing at events all year, so we thought we deserved a night out. We went to the Curve in Leicester to see a youth production of Oliver!
If you'd like to join the choir contact Catriona.

Not everyone enjoyed everything, but bits were really good fun and it was a good insight into university life and courses.
If you're in Year 11+ and want to come to the 2013 summer school let Sam know!

During lunch an Ofsted inspector talked to some of the participants. We ate outside as the weather was lovely and saw lots of university students going about their normal routines. We then had a law session with one of the heads of the Law Dept.
