On Monday 17th December, the CiC Choir, Beacon Voices, decided to do a few different types of performances. Since it was Christmas we thought it would be nice to sing for some people who might be finding this time of year harder than others.
The LOROS hospice and Aylesham Court Nursing Home, both kindly invited us to sing for their residents. The patients at the hospice were very thankful for us coming and some were happy that the nurses opened the doors to the wards so they could hear us sing. At Aylesham Court we joined in with their BBC Radio Leicester's Sing Christmas which was a lot of Carols, but really good fun. They've asked us to maybe come back this summer to do something else as the residents really enjoyed having us. We all really enjoyed it too and definitely want to do something similar next year!
