We loved a video made by a disabled young man from Derbyshire, where he had written a song about being in care, it was very good, but also really touching.

During lunch an Ofsted inspector talked to some of the participants. We ate outside as the weather was lovely and saw lots of university students going about their normal routines. We then had a law session with one of the heads of the Law Dept.

On a very early, cold and snowy February morning we met at Leicester station to attend another Cambridge University Day for CiC. It had an exploration focus, we learned about Antarctica and Captain's Scott's fated journey to the South Pole.

On the last Friday of the school holidays we had a massive party at Braunstone Civic Centre. It was great to have so many CiC, carers and carer's children there!

A small group of 3 young people and Catriona met at Leicester train station at 7 am on Saturday 26th November, I know 7am!
"The French schools in film seminar was the best thing about the day".
"I really enjoyed the lecture on Arabic".

We then walked back to St. John's College and had a lovely lunch, one young person when asked what they liked most about the day said:
"the food, because I was hungry and it was nice".
After lunch we went on a treasure hunt in a few different groups.
